Currently based in Berlin, Lucia is working in particular as a collaborative pianist, with special focus on vocal language coaching and accompanying singers, as well as working with instrumentalists, given her decade long experience in that particular field. She also work as piano teacher for adults and children of all levels and ages

Lucia collaborates with Musical Theatre Berlin as Musical Director. They are currently developing the Off-Broadway Musical “I Love You Because” which will be premiered in fall 2024 (a Sitzprobe was showcased in December 2023). She is also working in the workshops for musical amateurs by Musical Theatre Berlin, during which the students develop skills in the three areas of musical theatre and end their course with a full musical production.

Lucia is also the co-founder and member of the Lysistrata Chamber Collective who directs the concert series Forgotten Female Composers in Berlin dedicated exclusively to performing works by female composers of the past and contemporary.

Lucia graduated with honours from the Conservatorio Statale “O.Respighi” in Latina under the guidance of Maria Paola Manzi and in 2014 completed a Master of Arts in Performance (Piano Accompaniment) at the Royal Academy of Music, London, with Michael Dussek and Carole Presland.

She then attended a Postgraduate Course in Chamber Music with the Trio di Parma at Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and has completed Magna cum Laude a Postgraduate Course in Piano under the guidance of Roberto Paruzzo at I.S.S.M. “F. Vittadini” in Pavia.

Lucia has taken part in masterclasses with musicians such as Lluis Claret, Mario Brunello, Natalia Gutman, Maxim Vengerov, Kathryn Stott, Thomas Brandis, Helmut Deutsch, Angelika Kirschlager, Dirk Mommertz, Emanuele Arciuli and Frieder Berthold.

She has worked as a Collaborative Pianist at the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” in Milan and at the Conservatorio “G. Cantelli” in Novara, and continues to collaborate as a pianist for International Talent Music Summer Festival & Courses in Brescia.

Winner of various prizes in national and international competitions, both in chamber music and as a soloist, Lucia has performed abroad in prestigious venues in numerous countries, such as Australia, Mexico (Sala de Conciertos Felipe Villanueva), USA, Germany, Holland (TIHMS Festival), United Kingdom (Duke’s Hall, Old Combination Room - Trinity College) and Spain (Universidad de Murcia, Real Casino de Murcia).

She has been invited to perform as a soloist with orchestras such as the Orquesta Sinfonica del Estado de Mexico and the Orchestra Giovanile Bertolucci and has appeared on National Spanish TV on the programme Clasica 7 with a live stream of a concert held at the Real Casino of Murcia.

In 2013 she recorded the album “Object de vertu” by Bob Jones in Abbey Road Studios, which gave her the chance to explore a style close to the world of jazz.
